Holiday Activities AROUND TOWN for Family & Friends

Activities for family and friends in town this holiday season

You know you’re an adult when the holiday season becomes more stressful and overwhelming than magical and exciting (with the exception of Buddy the Elf…cookie dough, ice skating and snuggles, anyone?!). When families and friends are in town for the holidays this season, consider these stress-free local activities happening in the Indy area to keep them entertained.

Massage Heights

Take a couple hours of the day to enjoy some relaxation at Massage Heights. Try out hot stone therapy on a cold, winter night, or exfoliate your dry, cracked skin with a reviving foot scrub or facial. Nothing will improve your holiday mood like a therapeutic massage. Kick your sore feet up after a day of last-minute shopping and appreciate a silent night.

The Yoga Studio

Sweat out your holiday stress and rejuvenate at The Yoga Studio with locations available in Broad Ripple and Carmel. Focus on your mind, body and breathing rather than your holiday to-do list. Not a yoga person? Don’t have to be! Beginners are welcome in every class.

Books&Brews

What’s a better way to unwind than reading your favorite book with a seasonal beverage? Thanks to Books&Brews, you can partake in a wide selection of used books AND your favorite childhood games while sipping on the best local beers. It’s a great indoor location for when it’s too cold to enjoy the outdoors.

Rize

Take your “ladies who brunch” to Rize, located on the first floor of Ironworks Hotel, to indulge in breakfast and lunch (including the tastiest brioche orange glaze cinnamon roll you will ever have!). Splurge on a delicious pastry or dig into an adult lunchable in the trendy and tasteful environment.

Ironworks Hotel Indy

No plans yet for New Year’s Eve? After the holidays, ring in 2019 with Ironworks Hotel and take the elevator home. Avoid an amateur celebration and instead listen to live jazz music, view a balloon drop, have a champagne toast, pose in the photo booth, and more!

Happy de-stressing this holiday season!
